One of my favorite pieces of open-source software is Mozilla Firefox. We highly recommend it to all of our customers. Mozilla has been hard at work on the latest version, Firefox 3. According to the article, the new version is just around the corner:

The program's creators told Reuters on Thursday that the privately-held company's trial version of Firefox 3 browser is ready for the masses to use after months of development.

...

Engineers at Mozilla are still putting the finishing touches on the software and hope to release the final version of Firefox 3 by the end of June, Schroepfer said.

If you use AT&T Yahoo! DSL or any of the variations (SBC DSL, etc.), you will soon be required to use SSL to access your email. Here is a quote from their site:
Important Notice: Once these security enhancement are fully implemented only SSL compatible email clients will be able to access client email (POP/SMTP). Some older email client versions may not support SSL. Please go to the AT&T Yahoo! Mootools Optimizaion in Joomla 1.5

One of few complaints I have with Joomla 1.5 is the inclusion of Mootools by default. Not that this is a real complaint per se, but more a pet peave. Why you ask? Well, the mootools.js that comes with Joomla 1.5 is whopping 74k in size.
